That comment hit me hard. My daughter is also pregnant... 12 weeks. 2 weeks before christmas her husband walked out.. came back the next day.. stayed for 1 week..while she was at work he packed up all his stuff and left. She was devasted. He could have caused her to loose the baby. He wants to be in her and the baby's life.. but not pay child support (he must be crazy). I think he is selfish, cruel, and a hundred other things I can think of. He also went to buy new furniture that week, that I financed, and left the next day. As a parent, I don't want my daughter to EVER take this self centered, pathetic excuse for a human being back. I hurt for her and and her child. Does he not think of what his child would think of him years later and hurt. Does he not want to feel the life growing in my daughter that he heped create? God help him. My daughter has us, her family to help her and love her. But that doesn't replace a husband's love, not that he ever had love to give.

He is a low down dirty bastard. Tell your daughter that she can do bad by herself. She don't need him. You just continue to help her out and love and support her.

I'll answer your question in two stages, from a male perspective.
Males simply do not have the nurturing instinct of females- and many of us have no desire for children. He may never hadve wnated the child and the daughter may have been unwilling to terminate- so where's the compromise- you can't have half a baby.

Secondly- I don't excuse his actions at all- they are the actions of a supreme and rarely equaled Cad and rotter.

I sincerely hope your daughter finds a decent man- there are still many of us around.

Gosh that's bad. I sympathize with you. That dirty nasty jerk (sorry) I cannot believe that coward. You know what you should take him to the cleaners. Go to court and get him for everything he has. Make sure he pays child support or put his sorry a--- in jail. Did she really lose the baby or is she just sick about the whole thing. Please try to calm her down and remind her that she has a living breathing little person inside of her and she needs to take care of herself and her unborn child. Have her make the best of her life with her child cause she doesn't need that heartless man back in her life. God Bless You.

He's a jerk and screw him. He can be in the baby's life, but he must make sure that he will be around. If he does not, single parenthood is hard, but you get all the first (that is what I tell myself). I look at my kids at the end of the day and say "I did that" and no one else. You keep loving and supporting your daughter and you get to be the good grandma.

Only this man understands what his train of thought is, my guess is, he isn't thinking at all. however he did marry your daughter what ! was his reasoning for doing so? It takes a real man to be a father and we have very few real men in this generation.

I see a problem, but I'm not really for sure what your question is. What is he so mad about, cause she's pregnant? If so, did they plan it? Also is she keeping it and thats why he's mad, or they're just having differences? Please explain.
