Not weird at all! People under 25 these days tend to think that being together for several months, or even a year, makes it a solid relationship. It's still just a tiny seed of a relationship that hasn't grown up yet.
I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and I still get a little shy, too. Whether it's physically (sexually) or emotionally, I find myself holding back sometimes. I've always been mature and confident, but sometimes you can care so much about what a person thinks that you can get a little nervous.
When two people feel so close to each other, it's hard to remember that there is SO MUCH left to learn about them and so much more to experience. Don't worry about being shy etc because the relationship is still so new.
I'm only 22, but I've had the chance to see happy marriages (that were not my parents) and they made me realize how much my relationship is still budding. Enjoy it, though!

No I actually think that should be the way it is. If you feel like the same with him than with anybody else then it is bad...you don't feel anything for him but when you do...you might fell shy.

with my first bf, we used to be so shy around eachother. but he asked you out for who YOU are. you dont have to put up a front and not show him your true self. you'll never feel good about it. once you open up to him, it'll bring u guys so much closer. but its still cute to b shy once in a while :P

Not at all. It's all a matter of time before you start to open up to him. Just take your time, no need to rush.
