Yes...but not right away. It will take a long time to undo the damage he's done.

Although it's fashionable to blame Bush for a whole lot of what's gone wrong in America and elsewhere, I believe that happiness cannot be found in America just with his departure. It all depends on what you mean by happiness. I believe some semblance of sanity MAY return to America. It depends on the make up of the U.S. administration and who the advisers are.

Happiness is already here. The war effort has not made a country of free men and women "unhappy". It may affect someone who does nothing but watch TV all day but normal working Americans are not unhappy just because of it. Mr Bush will be gone soon enough and we will get another politician who will also make mistakes as every other US President has done. Have a great evening.

No. I don't . Just Bush being gone is going to do it. Maybe happiness will return to America, when people start respecting each other more. When pornography is made illegal. When children start respecting their elders. When the cost of living goes down, and our Income goes up. When we don't get taxed and taxed and taxed on top of tax on everything under the sun. The list goes on and on.

Nope that ship has sailed. We're in a substantial debt, we are at war, our country is in moral distress, our civil rights have been flushed down the crapper along with the Constitution and Bill of Rights ect...

We are on the cusp of being a broken country compared to 10 years ago when we were flourishing and, oh yeah HAPPY!

The happiness of America, as well as of other contries, is attained through the efforts of all the people: leaders, citizens, travellers... Now is the time of human maturity, all individuals have to bear their responsibilities instead of blaming other people.

No, but with that said, I still want Bush gone. He really should have his sorry butt impeached NOW.

(If Clinton can get an impeachment for lying about sexual relations while under oath, Bush has MORE than earned an impeachment many times over.)
