You're asking for a general answer. the response may not be fair to those that are being suckered and those that really mean it. The term I love you can be said by some people without the true feeling being present. You can tell if a person really means it by their acts, such as listening, touch,a perky personality around you, etc. They will communicate their feelings to you a lot. It's not just love. They compliment you or do things that make you seem happy or proud. They give in the relationship just as much as they take. People who are not sincere about stating they love someone may take significantly a lot more than what they give in the relationship. The "sucker" may feel as if he is the only one that's not happy in the relationship. There's an inbalance in fullfilling each other's needs.

Just depends on the girl. Most of the time a girl won't say something like that unless they mean it though.

in their strange way they all have a fantasy and they must cast you for the part to fufil their inevitable fanstasy. play your part or slowly alienjate them. in that sense you aren't real. the other kind of woman doesn't do that but they aren't generally nearly as exciting and romantic. hell, you cannot win. you can only get a slice of the pie and never the whole package. you get the best you can and makethe most of it. you tell them you love them and act out their fantasy albeit sir lancelot or tom cruise. follow your bliss or their bliss, actually. never mention it but never forget it is an unatural arrangement between two people with ideas that frequently clash. something has to give. or it is finished.

There's things you say and things you mean. That's a gender neutral propostion. Actions always speak louder than words.

Yes if they are your girlfriend. Otherwise no. Don't forget that most single girls like to play games with guys feelings.

It depends on the girl. If a girl really said it,i think she really meant it. 'I love you' is not easy for a girl to say it.. except-that girl is a playgirl..

well it all depends on what you are to her. if you are just a friend then yes she means it in a friendly way, but if you are her boyfriend then yes she means it. believe it or not our " i love yous" are usually completely serious.

It's like anything. If she hardly knows you, she is in fantasy. Also, is it a love of friendship or romantic love? Ask her. Then ask her why.
