it's be great to find out what other people got their hubbies / or wives. We get married in 56 days... just would like some (serious) answers to help me find a nice gift. i've got a few ideas, but I would like to get him somenthing real special. thank you!

hubby-to-be is works as a butcher. he doesn't wear jewellery (i've only just been able to convince him to wear his wedding ring!). He doesn't want to lose his wedding ring while at work. He doesn't like wearing a watch. he does like planes. and he used to be an athlete a few years ago. He enjoys snuggling up to watch movies. And he enjoys cooking (which i have to admit he's very good at!). He does wear cologne. and collects Rare and (expensive) Bottles of Johnnie Walker and memrabelia. thanks!

How about a Video Camera, for the both of you,, the both of you can journalese your last days as single people looking forward to your wedding day,, then on your wedding day and honeymoon you can start making the journal entries together,,plus on the honeymoon you can compare entries., if expense is an issue then just do it in a paper journal.

I got married 2 years ago and bought my hubby a really nice watch that matches his wedding ring.
It's actually our 2 year anniversary next week and i'm going to take the watch and get the back engraved with something sweet.

Well, I'm pretty fortunate in that my fiance showed me the exact watch he wants as a wedding gift. I'm just trying to decide on what to have engraved on the back.

I bought him some really nice cologne to wear on the day and when ever I smell it it reminds me of all memories of that day.
