map out your programme and stick to it, ie train on the days you say you will no matter what.
Measure yourself at the start of your undertaking and measure every two weeks whatever goals you have set. You dont need to measure any more frequently otherwise you may just get frustrated.

First, do you really need this or is it just something you want to do.
Second, how much can you take.
Third, are you really going to finish it or just waste time by beginning something you never inteded to do
