You can always BT (Bit Torrent), but that isn't legal. Now... your next best alternative is Open Office, and because its a suite (A set of software), the one program you are looking for is Open Office Impress. If you use PowerPoint somewhere else, you should save all your documents as .ppt.

You can get a free 2003 or 97 powerpoint viewer from www.microsoft.com
and templates are offered @ www.websiteestates.com/ppoint.php
But you will not get the powerpoint program for free. It's to much of a money maker for microsoft to give it up for free

This is a serious answer if you are a Government Worker.
Go to your Systems Administrator and inform them you sometimes take work home to finish. Inform them that you would like to have the MS-Office (?) package installed on your home computer so that you may accomplish work at home also.
Usually, System Administrators are licensed to install the MS-type office programs on home computers.

You can't download it for free.
Powerpoint is sold seperately at many stores or you can go buy the office package.

Uh, Bittorrent? Which is illegal, if you haven't noticed. Strangely, no one seems to get caught, but I still won't call it safe...
