I dont know what the people before i answered this question are thinking, but if want to be able to punch harder you should build your shoulders and triceps. Shoulders are extremely important, build your shoulders with a couple of different exercises. Dont just focus on one exercise, use multipe. Same goes for your triceps. Biceps arent something you should be building up a lot, keeping your gloves up gets more difficult when you have all of that extra muscle in the way. You also need to have good form, put your wieght into the punch without leaving yourself open to counterattacks. Good Luck

all muscle's a true head rocking puch starts in the legs by kicking forward off the ground then tightin ur knee as it move up ur leg then twisting the side of ur body ur punching with backward u push foward with ur shoulder making ur arm straighten as it goes further towards whatever ur hiting. for more info look up boxing teqniques. its true most heavy weight boxers know this and they hit with 700-1200 pounds of force per sq inch

upper body strenght biceps, triceps shoulders. and to throw your body you need to turn your torso into the punch and yes the jaw is the best way toknock someone down other than punching them in the balls.

A good boxer trains the entire body for a reason. The effective blow starts from the feet and ends with a wrist snap. I hope you're only practicing for the sake of practice. It doesn't sound like you're ready to start a fight yet.

its more technique then muscle, look at chuck lidell he has rather skinny arms and a unimposing body but can punch hard enough to knock big guys out
