When a guy asks you "Is your friend as pretty as you" what should you take this as?

that he likes me more than a friend? we just were randomly talking about just and i brung up my friend and he asked me that.

He likes you but doesn't want to come on too strong. He's paying you a compliment and isn't really interested in your friend. I don't think he's a player as this is a bit of a soft approach---testing the waters a little. Smile at him, show your interest in him, ask him questions about his day.

He likes you. This question gets him two pieces of information. 1. He finds out if you are conceded. and 2. he wants to know what kind of friends do you have. He is also giving you a compliment by calling you pretty. The best answer would be two 1. Answer dat you are not conceded 2.giving basic information about your friend but not making the main topic in the conversation. and 3. Take the compliment. My sugestion would be something like this:" Huh well say for yourself I will introduce her to you later she...(say a little about her) ....move on with the conversation.

He might have been nervous as hell, and it was one of his stupid questions that he blurted out without thinking. Or he was normal and just wanted to know if your friend was as pretty as you because he secretly wants you and your friend together as a package deal if she was. Although it could all be a misunderstanding. Either way you should ask him what he ment by it, and figure out if hes hiding something with his answer, before you move further. Either way he should of thought about what he said before he said it, and not even think about bringing up a girl he may be interested ins female friend and whether or not shes pretty or not. To me its just not a good question to ask unless you two know each other really good, and things in the love category wont workout with the two of you. Even then its a maybe sort of question.

If you where talking about some good friend of yours, and he asked you that question, it is a complement, to you.

he's definetely not serious about relationships right now. looks like he's still experimenting with relation ships to find the best. life comes only once and your decisions must be very correct to live it perfectly well. take decisions wisely and don't waste much time.
