NO. Pastors gets to much glory God gets none. This is a huge problem. Those pastor will have to pay for misleading those people.
Mic 3:5 Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
Read the book this is talking about pastors, they are his watchmen

I think God should always get the glory. Where it doesn't happen there is a dysfunctional event.
And having said that, as a former pastor to pastors involved w/ caring for 100 congregations in a regional branch of a mainline church - Pastors like anyone/everyone need to give the glory to God. Pastors, like everyone/anyone, can use affirmation. My experience is that pastors are isolated by their calling and their tasks. The vast majority are hopelessly underpaid for the hours they work and the education they have.

A pastor or minister is the leader of a local church. They should not be playing a role, but should hopefully be divinely placed in that position as a result of God's leadership. Any pastor and
minister worthy of praise should not be one who seeks it in the
first place. He not only should lead his people but also work alongside his people to carry out the God's will for the church.
To answer your question...no, not all ministers/pastors are deserving of the recognition they receive. Those that seek no
recognition, but seek only to love the brotherhood and the community at large, as well as to seek to follow the leadership
of the Holy Spirit, are the ones who really deserve any recognition they receive....and any recognition received, the
same individual will attribute that to the people of his church
and to God.

I think that they deserve some kind of recognition ONLY if they have gone to some seminary college. A six week class and a certificate are not enough to make you a Pastor or Minister. You must be ordained.

I think that Jesus demonstrated what a true minister's attitude should be when he washed his disciples feet as if he was a slave. No, all Christians need to develop a better understanding of living a humble life in service to humanity in the name of God. That attitude never leads to grand-standing.

Pastors are fellow brothers/sisters. What they need is a shoulder to cry on and someone who looks to them as an equal. A true shepherd is a servant. And we all should serve one another in love.

I dont listen to them. I do NOT need their religious bias to interpert the simple spirit of Jesus's words as written in RED in the 1st 5 books of the new testament....

i am an ordained minister.
the first thing that i teach anyone, is that i can not talk to the gods for you. that you must learn to do so for yourself.
i will teach you how to do this, and help you to interprit what they tell you if you feel that you need a human to do these things for you.
the next thing that i teach, is to look for your own answers.
my grove members call me Yogi.

Wow, what church do you attend? I've seen more abused, overworked, underpaid, unpraised ministers and I've been in a ministry family my entire life.
