I went to the dentist today and he took xrays. He told me that I was lucky because I have NO wisdom teeth at all. They never came in and never will.. I thought it was strange... Have you or anyone you know never gotten your wisdom teeth, or been told you have no wisdom teeth?

Yes it's becomming more and more common now. Some people say it's evolution, because we don't need them anymore (yes, we used to).
I am a dental hygienist, and I see it quite often, people born wiithout them. My daughter was.

Yes, I am 25 and I have no wisdom teeth. One is my jaw is too small to accomodate wisdom teeth and two I probably never will have wisdom teeth, so I would suggest you "enjoy" being one of the lucky ones who don't have to worry about wisdom tooth woes. Good luck!

Yes, It happens.

Most people have 4 wisdom teeth, others have 3 or maybe even even 2

Then there are the LUCKY ONES LIKE YOU!!!!! who have NONE!! Not common, but it happens.

You really don't know how lucky you are!

Sure. I see this all the time. You can look this up somewhere, but I would bet about 10% of people have no wisdom teeth at all.

I only had one wisdom tooth and my mom had none. Its usually genitically related ask your parents about their wisdom teeth. In fact I still have baby teeth in my mouth. I never had adult teeth to push them out. Eventually, they'll become lose and I'll need replacements. They said I'll be able to have them well into my 30's though. I'm 27 and have never had a problem with my teeth, so don't worry!

I only had 2 wisdom teeth (which I had removed). My dentist said my top ones never developed. Yay! :)

I never had wisdom teeth either. I found out when I went to the orthodontist to get braces and they told me my jaw was too small to have them and that I will never get them. I didn't really think it was strange, I thought it was cool cuz I didn't have to go through the pain of getting them removed.

wow, I never heard of that but consider yourself lucky! I might have to get mine removed because I have no room. And my gums are all sore bc they're coming in.
