There's a lot going on in this story, and it sounds like there is animosity between you already.
I don't know it she is possesed or not, but if praying helps you when you're around her, then by all means keep praying.
The best thing you can do for a person like that is pray for their happiness and for God to help them.

Hey dude, it appears that your mother-in=law needs to give up The Prozac. next time she goes to see her doctor, you need to go with her and explain to the doctor the things that you have been experiencing.

In addition, if the doctor won't take her off the Prozac then suggest that he give her a More settled dose. she is not posessed. not by demons. it probably that she lives a life of resentment for the things that she never accomplished in life. Also make sure that you are doing positive things because sometimes if your life is going down hill, it only reminds them of how they turned out. This reflection is often what is considered to be called the man in the mirror.

People see themselves in someone else and in stead of trying to help them do better they take out their anger and frustration on that person.

She just has hate in her heart and you can probably sense the hostitlity which gives you anxiety. Prozac only works for awhile and then you can become immune to it so she is probably just using it as a crutch or to get sympathy at this point. Your mother-in-law may have underlying tones of jealousy towards you for being with her baby - it sounds sick but it is amazing how many people feel this way. Talk to your religious leader for guidance. Good luck!

It sounds like your mother-in-law needs to get a new medicine and perhaps learn a few social skills, as well. Make the suggestion to someone who might be able to persuade her.

It also sounds like you need to come back to reality... there are no demons to fear. You've known that since you were a child - it's time to believe what you know and think rationally rather than religiously.

Catholic, eh? Looking for an exorcism, perhaps? Don't be silly...

She annoys the sh** out of you. Tell the old biddy it's none of her business. Invite some Catholics over for a night of partying and great fun ! I'm Catholic, but my faith is in God, not the priests, rabbi's, preachers, elders, etc.... etc.....You are making yourself sick at the sight of her, because you have to endure her agonizing, bitchy, torture. Perhaps she's menopausal. Also, it doesn't matter if you're Catholic, Buddhist, whatever, a negative , vile , nasty, ugly, mother-in-law, will make anybody ill.

Oh no! I don't think she's possessed! She's actually very normal, because many mother-in-laws are like this. Just talk to her, and get to know her and everything should be fine. But I think you should see a pastor at a BAPTIST church, not catholic. And pray to help you understand, and be comforted, and for you mother-in-law. Rremember, if you ever prayed before, and nothing happened, or the situation isn't solved, don't blame God. Prayer isn't a something you ask for, and get it straight away. Remember, No is an answer

ONLY if you know you are living for Jesus all prayed up, ask her what her thoughts are on salvation & the afterlife refered to as eternity.

I have first hand whittnessed persons demon possed and I FIRMLY stress you are dealing with a powerful spiritual force of Satan.

Personally I think the Catholic Church is posessed, because of worshiping a cross, some beads and then they assume Mary only had 1 child and was a virgin. Talk about posession. Satin had to be working overtime on whoever started that church

Many people can be 'influenced' by demons.. but not necessarily possessed by them. Although possession is very real. Either way, just keep praying for yourself and her.
