look in the mirror and asked yourself what is there not to like until you believe it or repeat I'm hot I'm hot I'm hot or whatever makes you confident until you believe it.

I used to be really shy too.
I guess the easiest way to break the shyness is somehow learn to be more comfortable with yourself in social situations. Try to realize that no one is really judging and inspecting everything that you do. Find confidence in yourself by focusing in on your good qualities.
Try to join a group that gets you in contact with more guys. If you are a teen, consider clubs at school or a youth group. Once you start talking to boys in general more, you will be able to talk to the one you like with a little more ease.

are you normally shy? if you are then I guess this is an example of being yourself or maybe you just become more shy in certain situations.? (We all do) You just have to not focus on yourself.. then things can become natural..
