why is it impossible for people to eat popcorn without looking like their starving to death?

I prefer the 'lizard method' for eating popcorn. It's perfect for when you have a large soda in one hand and an overflowing bag in the other. Just dart your tongue out and pick out the kernels one-by-one with the tip of your tongue.

People need to take smaller amounts in their hand, eat slower, and best to have their own bag.

Than people would not be eating so fast, feeling like it is a challenge to get more than the other person, and they just might have something left before the movie starts!

We all eat too fast anyhow!

I have actually wondered much the same. I've come to the conclusion that it's the salt. The more you eat salty foods, the more you want them. And, the more salty foods you eat, the more liquid you need. Why do you think the movie theater industry is so wealthy?? Plus, more often than not, people want to eat or drink something sweet with something salty.

Popcorn SMELLS good......... so we can consume and consume. We are enjoying the savory smell...

Because it takes at least 2 large buckets to fill you up. We just can't seem to get enough of it.

lol cause it is so hard to put it down. It doesn't really fill you up. I think it shrivels in your stomach and hides in a corner so you can keep shoving it in and wont fill up
