I have reinstalled the games, even tried reinstalling DirectX directly off folder on CD. Hrmmm, hitting a brick wall here. I downloaded the files (*.dll) from the net and put them in my game directory and c:\windows\system but still nothing... same error.

Don't feel left out, because I just searched my system and D3DX9_30.dll could not be found, either.

See a discussion of the problem here. And while yo are at it type
D3DX9_30.dll in the search line of your browser. There are a bunch of fixes from renaming to downloading a .dll.

Insert your WinXp Cd & go for the repair option in the installation process. That should solve it!

attempt to uninstall then reinstall bypass to start/ administration Panal/upload/do away with classes/ And delete it there, have the deploy report with tips from your area and deploy it as quickly as its finished uninstalling, then reboot and see if it works
