Let me tell you what, I know exactly what you mean. I have trouble getting to sleep and have trouble staying asleep to. I can't get to sleep till like 1 or 2 hours after I try to get to sleep. Than I wake up in the middle of the night like once or twice and hard to get comfortable to get back to sleep most of the time. I have tried over the counter medicine and once I get medical insurance am getting on ambien, I have tried a trial pack and it works miracles.

I go to bed at 9 because I have to wake up at 5:30. I usually wake up at 1 and 3 or sometimes 4 it bugs me and I don't feel completley rested but what can I do. If I take a sleep aid I sleep all the way through without waking but I don't want to become dependant on it so I just live with it

I used to wake up so many times at night. Felt like my body was jumping off the bed. I told my Dr and ended up getting an over night sleep study. Turns out I have restless leg syndrome and obstructive sleep apnea. I was having my breathing stop every two and a half minutes. That is why my legs got cramps and I woke up still feeling tired. Lack off oxygen. And why my subconscous mind was startling myself awake. With a cpap machine to keep the airway open... I sleep all night now and wake up rested.

We all still feel tired in the morning. I doubt you have a sleep disorder by any means. One key to not feeling tired is consistency. Go to bed around the same time and wake up around the same time and aim to get around 8 hours of sleep. You might try going to sleep earlier or getting up later if that is possible and see if that helps.

I usually wake up like once during the night. My problem is usually getting asleep for the first time. It usually takes me an hour at least.
And maybe you might want to talk to your doctor. Do you snore loudly at night? Are you out of breath when you wake up? That could be a sign on Sleep Apnea, which would leave you tired during the day.

I sleep like a log. I do not wake up at all in the middle of the night. I sleep at 12 and get up at 7A.M. I would suggest that you drink a cup of hot milk and go to bed, practice deep breathing and also try placing your head to East or West when you lie down. That way, you will sleep peacefully. Good luck
