i was wondering if there are ways that i could be more confident, nicer, and sweeter around a girl i like

Just relax, and I know it sounds silly but be yourself!
Let her like the person who's the real you, not the fake guy who you think would appeal more to her.
Confidence starts with being happy with yourself. Be proud of who you are!
Nicer, sweeter. Talk to her! Make an effort going to lunch with her or walking to class. She'll notice these things!
And as scary as it may be...... talk to her when her friends are around. Yes they may be cruel but if you're confident enough around them, she'll be impressed.

Just stay calm and be confident but not too confident. Also get in good with her friends so they like you. What also worked for me was just to talk to her friends and not pay much attention to her, DO NOT flirt with them though. If she is the jealous type she will want you talking to her and will come on to you.

Let her know that you have an interest in her. Not just physically, but also as a person. It worked for me.
Also, don't pretend to be something that you are not. I am so sure that there is a girl that will like you for what you are.

that depends on who you are. how you act. and what holds you back. stop and think a while. how do you treat her? why don't you want to treat her that way? which way would you prefer to treat her? figure it out and hust, promise yourself that you will be beter and you will change to be who you want to be around her. make a goal and progress slowly. if you need anything, send me an email, KK? good luck.

break the ice with complements or comments. Say, "hey, i like your shoes" or "How did you do on that math test" (or w.e class you all have together) and just break the ice and take conversation from there
