ok if you want something cute* do not go to land's end, eddie bauer, or any of those odd stores, do not go to abercrombie, i work there, and there aren't any pea coats there for a fact. I just bought what you're looking for but in white at the Guess Factory Outlet. It's exactly what you're looking for, i live in CA and there's one in Gilroy, CA. they have them in dark grey, white, and black. Hope this is what you're looking for! peace!

Abercrombie has a verrryy adorable dark gray pea coat out for winter season. It's on sale actually, I think. It meets your criteria.

check your local army navy surplus store (the peacoat is a Navy uniform item). If you know anyone in the service, particularly the Navy, ask them if they can order you one.
