I know exactly what you mean! It's either because they're nosy, bored, making conversation, being "polite", or they genuinely want to see you happy and think that you'll only be happy once you're married or with kids. grr. it drives me nuts too!

Just tell them that you are getting married, right after the baby is born, and walk away. And kinda make if felt like they offended you. You will get a lot of laughs, and also the last laugh. People can be real crule without knowing it. Don't let it get you down, use it to your advantage, and laugh with it.

I know what you mean, you think it's bad in highschool when people have to know everything about the relationship your in but after highschool "Adult hood" when people are supposed to act like adults and not get into your business - well they're every worse!
Try to just let it go. Everyone feels that pressure at least once in their life, just pass it off.

I don't think they are actually pushing it, as much as they just want to see someone they care about happy. To them "happy" means settling down and having a family.
I'm sure they don't want you to rush into anything, especially if it would be bad for you.

I'm sure they mean the best when they say things like that. Believe me, I've had people say those things too. Just brush it off and live your life the way you want to!:)

they're just teasing, but they are looking for your reaction to see how much you like this person. I think it is a back-handed way of expressing their happiness for you., because courtship that ends in Marriage is generally the happiest part of anyone's life and they just want that for you.

no, they don't want to rush anything... it's just that they are bored of their routine lives and want something exciting with drama to talk about for the next few months... nothing to worry about :) be yourself and if you think about it, your life gets routine once in awhile too (unless you're studying, but worklife is!!!) and you get bored and seek some kind of change... no one's satisfied for long, right? hehe :D

I swear they want everyone to be as miserable as they are with their spouse. Ok, maybe they want you to be happy. I don't know, but it sure is annoying, ha?
