do you guys sometimes have sex without getting attached to the girl? In other words just use her for that?

A friend that last new years got drunk and in the middle of the night a girl offered him a BJ...some days later the girl got a hold of him and came over to his house and he said he just used her for sex afterwards because she was easy. The girl asked him if he would consider going out with her and since he had nothing to lose he agreed, but he told me that he never cared for her or loved her. He never took her out anywhere because he was emberrased to be seen with her, he recalls only taking her to the movies one time.

Now he's in love with a really nice and pretty girl but he told her about that ex and she sometimes gets kind of jealous about it. I think I would too.

Im curious to know if for men sex and love go together or in my friends case, should they both be consider seperate?

I guess that girl my friend went out with 1st didnt diserve much respect anyways.

If a girl is so easy that she is willing to have a sexual relation with a guy in an instant, she shouldn't expect a long term relationship. If I was to meet a girl at a party and we ended up having any form of sex...it wouldn't matter if I saw her the next day, three days later or 6 months later. If she wanted it...she got it...no strings. That is why communication is so very important in any relationship.

Well, most men are just the typical, primal urges-driven, animals that women think they are, but not all of us. I have never been able to seperate sex and love, but then again, I've never been in a serious long-term relationship either. Some guys are so addicted to the power they feel when they can use a girl for sex and then have them come back later wanting more, and they are able to deny them. That's what I think it is, a power trip! Unfortunately, today's society is totally based on meaningless, one-time sexual encounters, quick and easy marriages and even easier divorces! Most people treat relationships like some kind of test drive or something like, "I'll check this baby out and see how she handles and if I don't like it, then at least I had a good ride", and then it's on to the next model. Nobody ever stops to consider the effect this kind of behavior could potentially have on the other person involved, or what the consequences of their actions could be.

Men and women are completely opposite.

No, sex and love are not attached for men. Sad, maybe. But true. The nice thing is that true love makes the sex even better, so it's not like men are completely emotional voids.

It also comes down to respect. If the guy didn't respect her enough to wait until alcohol wasn't involved, then the chances that he would actually like her afterward are probably remote.

I know that many of my "brothers" follow the "little" head around and will jump at the chance to have sex with anyone, anytime, to hell with the consequences. Not being in anyway judgemental of this behaviour, I personally need to be firmly emotionally bonded to the one I'm intimate with. (goes without saying, familly members are excluded)

Little boys use women for sex. Men feel some attraction and love with a woman who they have sex with, or else I'm full of S***
