Strictly an opinion: There has never been a more chaotic metropolitan society so reliant on machines and natural resources. Clearly, the earth is bleeding. With all injuries come a scar. This is our Ozone level depletion.
Increased energy from the sun affects our sea-surface temperatures. Truthfully, the poles are smaller regardless of anyone's view on Global Warming. The ice is breaking apart. Why do we know, because our best scientists are explaining that this is happening at both poles. And I agree with Al Gore and others, increased fresh water mixed into our salty oceans will ultimately in time change our ocean currents.
The movie "Day after Tomorrow" was not made to scare us. It was Theatrical however, its point was to inform us all of how and when this type of event may happen. Could happen next week or in 200 years.

global warming is a real big problem and a real big threat every living thing on this earth. Its only getting worse. we as people need to step up to the plate and control it more. we can save this planet but we need to start now. I have witness what i think is global warming. I went home to Michigan over the holidays and it was in the 40s the whole time there. i remember when i was young we had feet of snow on the ground. Its kind of freaky that it was like there. that is my opinion on global warming

God the creator had gave us this world to establish what life is like. Man destroys the creation of god by 100% pollution which causes Natural Calamities and Phenomenal catastrophies. This global warming has originated from wasteful human activities through greenhouse effect. In around 200 years, life will disappear because of water level rising, polar ice melting. So, the main point here is indiscipline and ignorance of Man. I would suggest that stop polluting by not littering, revise the geothermal industries and vehicular composition.
