There is this guy that I really like and am good friends with him. This girl went up and told him something I said that was just a joke and it offended him. How do I make him know Im sorry and I care about him?

tell him it was just a joke and apologize. but that girl shouldnt have opened her big mouth. tell her to mind her own business next time!

You didn't say what you said so it is hard to help.
The only thing I can advise is that you should speak with him alone and face to face. Tell him that the last thing you meant to do was offend him because you have so much respect and admiration for him. If you like him as a friend, tell him that you haven't been able to rest because you don't want to lose him as a friend, if you have a crush on him, you could always tell him that you like him more than he even realizes and tell him that your comment isn't a reflection of what you really think. If you can't do it face to face, write him a letter and tell him how you feel.

Just explain that it was a joke and that you're sorry. Or write him a note about it...sometimes people can tell that you are truly sorry if you took the time to write an apologetic letter to them. Sometimes if you don't seem sincere, even if you are, they won't believe. But DON'T write a note expressing your feelings for him because there is a chance that he would show it to other people.

Let him know that u really are sorry and u did'nt mean to offend him...just be very truthful and if he's your friend he will understand as long as your sincere!

Straight up tell him that you're sorry and you didn't mean for it to offend him. Take him out for dinner or bake him and "im sorry" cupcake or something.

Just go up to him and tell him what you want to tell him. Thats the main thing to do. And just tell him that it wasn't meant to hurt him and tell him how you really feel. Get it out in the open

Go face to face with him, and tell him you heard a rumor. And that when you said it you were jokin' around. don't forget to tell him the exact truth..........ps telling the truth, it never can change stories.

he can know you care later, but now, he needs to know you're sorry.
