Well, I was working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. That was up until a month ago. Now I'm a full time stay at home mom thanks to my hubby and the fact that I hated my job. I go back to work in two weeks but at a different place. I will still work 5 days a week, 8 hour days.

My working hours were based on the schedules of my two kids. When they were in different schools for pre-K and kindergarten I was just driving all the time. It was impossible to maintain a working schedule. However, once they were both in the same school on the same length of day, I was able to go back to work between 20 -40 hours per week.
good luck

I have a 5 and 7 year old and I work 40 hours a week.
I was lucky enough to stay home with them for a few years though.

I start back at work in 4 days after a year of maternity leave.
I'll be working 4 x 8 hour days. So 32 hours a week.
Not looking forward to it but we can't survive on my hubbys wage alone.

I was working 4 x 9hr days from the time my son was 16weeks til 13 months. They kept pestering me to go back full-time, but I refused. So I left and now study part-time at night. Will get a better more flexible job at the end of it.
