BLACKHEADS REMOVAL
A nasty beauty enemy, but here's a remedy:
Combine 1/4 cup boiling water with one teaspoon of Epsom salt and three drops of iodine.
Let mixture cool until it's comfortable to the touch.
Soak a cotton ball with this mixture and touch gently on blackheads.
This will allow them to loosen so they can be easily squeezed with a gauze pad.

I agree with Jody O, the quickest way to get rid of a blackhead is to squeeze them or extract them. Most of the time, blackheads are the stubbornest pimples to get rid of, and those sticky strips just aren't strong enough to pull out the junk that is clogged in your pores, so don't waste your money.
You can buy a blackhead extractor at Walgreens or another drugstore in the section where they sell the tweezers and nail clippers. Just make sure your face is clean. Then apply a very warm cloth to the area several times to open up the pores. It's best if you have a magnified mirror so you can see better, but if you don't that's okay. When I do this, I use a sterile needle to GENTLY poke just the top of the blackhead to sort of open up the pore and make sure you DON'T do this too close to your eye. Then with the extractor or with the pads of your fingers or with 2 cotton swabs, squeeze it out. Most of them should come out, but the ones around your nose (especially under your nose area, will be painful 'cause it is a sensitive area anyway). Then follow up with a toner. If your face does get red in the areas that you extracted, the redness will go away in a day or two (which should be well before your date). Then just use some make-up to even the skin tone.
There's pretty much no way to get an appointment with a dermatologist before your date. Besides, I took my daughter to a dermatologist and guess what? Other than not using a warm cloth, the dermatologist did the same method I described, except I had to pay about $100 for office "surgery". All because my daughter was too stubborn to do it herself. But it was worth it to get rid of all her stubborn blackheads.
Have fun on your date!

Don't use any of the products that have been stated and don't squeeze them, that will blemish and redden your skin even more. The products that are over the counter like Apricot's, St. Ives have perfume in them that cause more pore cloggage than really clearing them. They also tend to dry out the skin and peel away the top layer of your skin that protects it from the sun, wind, etc..
Instead, when your in the shower, take advantage of the hot steam. Use a face towel, wet it and lay it over your face enough to make you kind of sweat and that will open up your pores which in result will make it easy to just scrap away the dirt that has been clogged in your skin. This will cause no blemish or irritation to your skin, do this everyday and your skin will look better everyday. Another hint do not use soap or Noxzema to wash your face! those are the worse.....

The real way: exfoliate! Follow up with a toner or astringent, then moisturize with some sort of acne-control product. I apply this gel afteward called Acne Free, I think. Repeat, reapeat, repeat! Healthy, real, solution! But takes time and must be kept up.
The quick and nasty way: Squeeze! Get in the magnifing mirror and use your thumb-knuckles for strength. Place them about a half inch apart and watch the nastiness come right out as you squeeze. Immedeate blackead removal!! Follow up with astringent and acne-control moisturizer. People will tell you to never do this because it enlargens the pores, but it works immedeately!! Make shure and keep the skin clean so you dont get nastiness in all those newly exposed pores.

Blackheads are follicles that have a wider than normal openings.
They are filled with plugs of sebum and sloughed off cells and have undergone a chemical reaction resulting in the oxidation of
melanin. This gives it the typical black colour.
Treatment--1.- Cleanse the face thoroughly with salicylic acid
cleanser.eg., Joey NY Pure Pores cleansing Gel.
2.-Apply an astringent, if it is a bit harsh, mix a little
water in it.
3.-Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel
containing Benzoyl peroxide-this helps in soakin
the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads
Benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, so apply
oil free moisturizer after 10 minutes.
4.-Azelaic acid cream 20% apply locally-it kills the
bacteria and reduces formation of comedones.
5.- Apply Tretoin cream 0.025% or gel in the
night daily.or on alternate days.
6. Or you can apply Adapalene gel 0.01% in th
night on alternate days - one night adapalene
and second night Tretinoin.
7.-Blackhead extractors are also very useful for
removal of blackheads-use once a week.
8.- Sun shine encourages skin peeling and so
helps to clear blocked pores. Sunbathing in
moderation can be helpful.

Those Biore strips work excellent. You use them to pull the blackheads out. Then use a cleanser like noxema on a daily basis. It tightens the skin back up and closes the pores. And the result are immediate. You can get them out and do a gentle mask to see the difference in 24 hrs!

I use St. Ives *sp?* apricot blackhead scrub. In a day or two it clears them up. Wash your face with that every other day, then use an astringent with witch hazel to get off any remaining dirt, then use a light moisturizer if needed. On "off" days, use a regular anti-blackhead cleanser (not a scrub or exfoliant) in place of the scrub.
Good luck with your crush, and make wise decisions!

There really isn't any way to get rid of them that quickly. Maybe a dermatologist can do something, but other than that I'd recommend Erno Laszlo's Sea Mud Soap. With regular use they'll be gone in a few weeks.

You should not be prejudiced against black people, but just tell them that you do not like for them to sit all over your face.
