there’s this guy that I really liked at the beginning of the year, so I tried talking to him getting to know him better, but having a conversation with him was so difficult. I’ve seen him talk to other people (girls and guys) and he’s no shy person! But when he’s talking with me he barely says anything or talks about homework, and he can hardly look me in the eyes, making any conversation awkward. So I started to just forget about him, but people say I come off as if I’m ignoring him, and some think he likes me. Do you think he likes me, and how can I make him more comfortable and less awkward around me?

If it's hard for him to have a converstion with you, it probably means he likes you and is just nervous to talk to you because he's worried you'll think he's weird. To make thing seem less akward around him, I reccomend talking to him more often. If he talks to you more often he'll feel more comfortable. You can also try asking him a lot of questions. Questions that are not yes or no questions are better. Then he will answer you, and start to feel more comfortable. You might find out that you and him both like each other. Good Luck!

A guy maybe the best person to answer this one for you...but the way I see it is find something in common with him. You will see him light up when you talk about something he is interested in. Maybe your are not completely interested in something he is but make an effort to know more about it and ask questions to show interest in what he likes. This will also help you to figure out if you like him superficially or if there can be some substance to the relationship. Make a friend of him. You sound pretty young too and believe me there are plenty of opportunities to have and build relationships. Finding something in common is important because communication is huge in any relationship

You need to break the ice. Try a little humor. Find out something that you both have in common. Give him a warm welcoming smile. Don't think that you HAVE to speak to enjoy each other's company.

He probably does like you and he is nervous around you.

Some humor would definitely help.

Good Luck,

CF

He either really likes you and is shy or doesn't like you and kinda doesn't wanna talk to you so much. Talk to him about it and if you're too scared or whatever, try getting a friend to do it.

He might like you and be nervous about what to say and that's why he won't talk much. Why don't you do the asking. Show interest in him and his life.

I think he likes you. Give him more time.
