I would like to thank everyone who helped me, and I just wanted to sure that I find this quote by Jesus really comforting. "And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19,20 And Jesus approached and spoke to them saying “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth, 19 God therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit
Acts 10:42 Also he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness

Mark 16:15-end of chapter
15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
19After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. 20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Check verse 16 - "16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, " think baptism is important? It's state here that those who believe and are baptized will be saved - it does not say - those who believe will be saved.
