I love God and I talk to him on the daily...
But I don't go to church or read the bible...
I want to see my husband when I die... will I see my husband again when I die? Is he up there in Heaven now waiting for me?

First off what is the criteria to get to go to heaven? The Bible tells us: In the New Testament in the book of John Chapter 3 we read where Christ was talking to a man Nicodemus who was a ruler of the Jews, Nicodemus said after witnessing some miracles of Jesus that Jesus must be of God. Jesus said to him, unless a man is born again he will not enter the kingdom of God. So here is what is required to go to heaven. You were born once as a baby (physical birth) but you need to be born spiritually, this takes place when you accept Jesus Christ as you own personal saviour. When you do God sends his Holy Spirit to come and dwell within you, this is your spirtual birth. You say you talk to God, however unless you are born again you cannot converse with God because you are still in your sin. You must first accept Christ as your saviour, when you do He will remove all your sins and He will become your righteousness and then you can converse with God. The Bible says, neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby you must be saved.....only through Christ who God sent to die for your sins.Jesus said I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except by me. It is very exclusive, the only way to God is through the Son whom He has sent. We are also told not to forsake the gathering of ourselves to worship and praise God. Thus we go to church. Your husband will be in heaven if he accepted Jesus as his Saviour, that is the way to heaven. I would encourage you to get a Bible and start by reading the book of John first then the book of Romans. Hope this helps.

Your asking the question you do is your answer... But I will say this... Only those who come to God in The Way He prescribes and receive His free gift of Salvation will enter Heaven.... If you had done this you would know the answer... If your husband did this then he is in Heaven... There is no requirement for onewho has received God's free gift of Salvation to be a part of any man invented "denomination".... But those of The Church, which all who come to God in The Way are, are instructed to not forsake gathering togeather...based on what little you have confessed I can only conclude that you are not of The Church so you are not on the list for Heaven.... I can not know of your husbands fate... no mortal can honestly answer concerning your husband.

Talking to God is a must. No one knows if anyone will go to heaven, there aren't really any laws about it. The mercy and love of God is so great and so powerful that we as humans can't decide who He will choose. As a Christian, my belief is that accepting Jesus as Christ and Saviour plays a big part in life and getting to heaven. But simply admitting that you've accepted Jesus and believing He is your Saviour isn't all. God is a way of life, a fufilling one. I would suggest reading the Bible though, and going to church. Remember, your life here isn't just about making it to heaven. Purse God and trust in Him and Him alone. God bless.

If you don't want to hang out with God's people or listen to what he has to say, why would you want to go to heaven? The Bible says your husband is "sleeping," waiting for the resurrection when Jesus comes.

Every person, with few exceptions, go to the Other Side (Heaven, Nirvana, etc...) when they die.

Does not matter if you attend a church, for church is just a gathering of people coming together to uplift one another.

Does not matter if you read the Bible, for it was written by Man.

What matters is that you are the best that you can be, and you have your own relationship with God.

"Going to church" is a human creation. Church isn't a construction, the human beings are the church. we will be in God's presence 24/7, so there'll be no favor to "flow to church" for cooperate worship. God Bless! save practise your sister, she'll study lots from you.

If you don't care about fellowship with other Christians, don't want to support the evangelism ministries reaching out to those in sin, don't care if your neighbor may not have a personal relationship with Jesus, are content to allow others to receive all Gods blessings through reading the good news in the Bible & titheing, rationalize things are ok because no bad things has befallen you... allow me to testify I know and serve a Mighty God and would be scared to death NOT to live closer in fellowship with the ONE who will bring me through.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!
