They have been through so many trials and tribulations and yet they are still here. I'm talking about major oppression under Babylon, Assyria, and Roman empires. Those empires tried to change their beliefs and rituals, tried to add on rituals and beliefs but the Jews stayed true to Hashem all throughout the oppressions. Even when Jesus came they stayed true to their God and did not bow down to Jesus and call him God even if Jesus offered heaven. Jewish people, stay true to your path.....that's just awesome I admire that. Jewish people rule! Don't listen to those Christians and Muslims yapping, they may be big religions but there's only one big difference.....God. Who cares about all those people, God is on your side Jerusalem!

I want to become Jewish :D

And don't slander Judaism, your Jesus is a Jew he probably wore that hat even. He did teach good stuff but I think those people blew it out of proportion..........those were very desperate times under the oppression of the Roman empire.

They practice their beliefs more rigorously than christians practice theirs. They also don't force them on anyone else.

Fundy christians are the trailer trash of the religious world.

I think that certain people are righteous. I would never say that an entire nation or race is righteous. Abraham's descendants were God's chosen people, but remember that they consistently went astray. Have you read the Old Testament yet? They are still looking for Messiah, but missed Him, even though the prophecies regarding Him were in their texts. They were expecting a savior from Roman oppression - a king. They didn't see farther than that. May God bless the Israelites once again, as He has faithfully done, and may God open the eyes of many to His Son, who can save them still.

I'm a Christian and I admire There loyalty the Jews have to the Father To God. I wonder what God dos With the Jews.. and The Jews Never stayed loyal to God, They always Worshipped other Gods, That's why God turned against them over and over to show them he was there God. The Jews Will only love God when things R bad For them. When they had a Kingdom they turned from him, when God gave them everything. But they will rise again, and Gods thrown will be placed in there City, His covalent With Abraham. HE will not through the Jews away.

NO. They are the chosen ones. The gentile races inherited Gods grace by default. But, that's just fine with me. I'll take the love of Yahweh any way I can get it. I choose Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I believe he is the Messiah that the Jews are still waiting for. You have to understand that there is only one True God...He has many names because many different people call on him.

I believe that the Jewish people are God's chosen people.

"O Children of Abraham, God's servant,
O children of Jacob, God's chosen,
this is the Lord our God,
whose judgment prevails in all the earth,

God remembers the covenant for ever,
the promise for a thousands generations,
the covenant made with Abraham,
the oath that was sworn to Isaac."

part of Psalm 104 (105)

The righteous ones are those who are "in Christ."

Therefore there are many Jews who are the righteous ones but there are also many Jews who are not.

God people is no longer defined by ethnicity but by being "in Christ." The Bible teaches though that God has not forgotten his promise to the ethnic Jews and will use the Gentile conversion to bring many Jews to Christ. Romans 11

The Jewish people believe themselves to be the chosen ones. To believe oneself superior could become a self-fulfilling prophecy. So is it the belief that creates success or is it some sort of mystic blessing? Who knows?

The Bible says "Salvation is for all, First for the Jew, then for the Gentile" so I assume you close to correct.
You can become a Proselyte Jew.

That's all fine and good, but we shouldn't give people credit for things that were done by dead ancestors.

That's like admiring me for my part in The French & Indian War.

See, we apply all kinds of meaning to things as we'd LIKE them to be. Most Jewish people aren't concerned with God. . .just like most of the Catholics I know.

At one time they were the chosen race.
They messed up big time and God turned to the Gentile nation.
