they are on the way to this show where Mo had to be beautifully conditioned and he pees in his crate and rolls in it, he thinks it is some kind of game, we think its a sick fetish. Beautiful flowing coat that reeks of urine. He kinda enjoys his poo too.

Don't give him water for a few hours before you drive, or don't crate him, or try a belly band. You could also try that dry shampoo.

I show Afghans occasionally, they always want to roll. It is up to the handler to not let them.

My mother used to say, "What smells like perfume to us, smells like dead bodies to dogs and vice versa." Is your cousin putting perfume on her show dog? He may think it smells like bad poop to him. He wants to smell like a real dog or at least not smell bad. I suggest your cousin try an unscented shampoo and rinse on her dog and see if this doesn't stop the stinky rolling habit. Also, after I shampoo my dog, I do not let her go out unsupervised for the first day. She is less likely to roll in something stinky after her fur has dried out completely and had time to adjust to the new smell.

dogs are predators.the reason they roll in dung, urine, dead things, smelly stuff ect...is to cover the scent that they are in fact ...a dog.their prey up wind will smeel what they rolled in .NOT A DOG!

Uhm funny, but people seem to forget that animals are just that, ANIMALS, they are not people, they do not have human minds, expecting them to behave as such is like expecting a 1 year old to know how to perfectly read & write, it just duz'nt work that way (-_-(-_-)-_-)
