I have a 5 month old Bichonpoo she weighs 6 pounds. I also trained her to go on wee-wee pads. She consistently peed on the pads but started to poop on the carpet. Nothing I did would get her to poop on the pads. Then she started having pee accidents after being fully trained. I finally gave up and trained her to go outside. I concluded that the pads were just giving her permission to go in the house not just on the pads but in the house and she couldn't make the distinction.

Unfortunatly, Shih Tzus are between the toughest breeds to potty prepare. My boyfriend's kin has 4. a million is thoroughly potty experienced, a million is potty experienced, yet she freakin' SCREAMS at you while she desires to circulate. a million nonetheless does no longer get it (She's very virtually 2) and then we've a puppy, who's doing sturdy so some distance. (I experienced the puppy myself). i've got heard that some will in basic terms no longer get it. :/ i do no longer understand how she experienced the 1st 2. yet i assume my tip could to seize them at the same time as they are going, %. them up and placed across them outdoors. And take a seat there and wait until they circulate. After that, supply them a cookie. If he would not circulate outdoors, do no longer supply him a cookie. If he is going interior, do no longer supply him a cookie. whenever you come across poop or a puddle, %. the canines up, prepare them it, say NO. and take them outdoors actual. Taht's what I did.

Retrain him to go outside. Pee pad trained dogs are known to "miss". Look at these links to see how

Reinforce him as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the harder it will be.
