I think it depends on the girl personally.
My husband calls me Boo (like the little girl from Monsters Inc...) But he has a reason for it...I broke my leg and am relearning to walk so I kinda walk liek her in the movie tottering around lol... I think it's cute.
Other than that he calls me baby all the time and sometimes snookums

Try the name of the female character.
You can also come up with some fun ones out of acronyms.
Depending on my mood I can be called
"Ursula" from George of the Jungle - cuz it was funny.
"Roy” cuz I am being a pain in the A** (short for hemorrhoid)
or I can be "Bright Eyes"...that one means the most!
Go from there and have fun!

the usual such as honey or sweet-heart. but then there's the personal things the things say you give her a nickname that makes you think of her and only her. i think those are always the best.

Almost anything that's sweet but nothing dirty. Women really don't like it when they're called something not so nice even if it's not meant that way.
