I have a stepmother who i really don't like. She is wierd because she says that her family has mystical powers and hers is that she can tell who is calling before they even call. Her sister can talk to animals and her 21 year old daughter can have dreams of the future. She then says that she is a christian. One time her mother tried to read my sisters palm and she said that my zodiac sign is what makes my personality. My dad is a christian and they got married really quickly and they hardly know each other. I really don't like her that much because she keeps wanting to come some stereotypical family and she is trying to replace my mother. i still live at my moms house during the week. Is she wierd, and how should i deal with her obsession with controling us and making us a family.

I'd tell me Mom about my feelings. Then, I'd have a one-on-one with Dad. You are going to be putting him in a predicament, but if he loves you, he will honor your feelings. I'd simply tell him that I want to see HIM but that his wife makes you feel uneasy and you aren't buying what she is selling. He has to live with her, you don't. If he thinks he can talk to her about zipping her lips when you are around about her mysticism, then maybe I'd give it a try or two to go over there. But I'd make it very clear to Dad that you are not going to be one, big, happy, dillusional family. She is JUST his wife, you already have a Mom...

Most people who claim to have powers really bleive they do. This persone problably did not have much as thay were growing up and they need somthing to feel specail about. It is really because this persone is insecure about themselfs. My freinds mother got a devors from her husband, after that she claimed to be a high preist of the elements and she started paying up to 500 dollors per class to a fake school called the school of the high advitaist. Make sure this persone knows that she will not rule your family. a keep your eyes out for your safty, these people are usaully harmless but they can be very easily manipulated into doing dangerous things.

You probably cannot change this woman, so don't try. Just be polite on the weekends that you see her. She sounds weird but harmless. If you ever feel threatened then you need to leave and not go back, but if she is just talking weird, see if you can put up with that, or just spend as much time with your dad as you can when you are there. Maybe you could visit less often if she makes you that uncomfortable.

Uum...sorry but they aint Christians. They can claim it all they want, but they aint. Put your foot down and demand you aint going over there no more. You don't need to be around someone like that. If you feel like you need to go (for some reason) then tell her you don't agree with the way she believes and you don't want any part of it. Knock the crap off when you are around them. No... just don't freakin go. I am a Christian. I know what the Bible says. They either don't know what it says or they are simply ignoring it. Whichever, is HOT!! if you know what I mean.

How does your father feel about all the weird stuff she says and does? Talk to him about this. Don't let it come between the 2 of you. Let him know that you do not feel towards her the way she wants. You have a mom and you don't need another 1. Good luck.
