Why do men want women to work hard to please them when they refuse to return the favor?

selfishness, i guess... usually happens to children who were spoiled/pampered as a child... women are also like that, trust me :)

could be afraid of commitment too... and afraid of the pain of rejection if the relationship doesn't end up well... guess it happens to people with negative mindsets too...
