My guess is that some part of you is angry at him for leaving. I'm sure it's not conscious, but very normal. Maybe some form of rejection. Many blessing to you.

Read Sylvia Browne's "Book of Dreams". In the book there is an example dream that is very similar to your dream. Sylvia gives a great reason, but for the life of me I can't remember what she said the reason was! This book will give you all the tools to better understand every aspect of this dream as well as other dreams!

I'm sorry this dream bothers you! I'm sorry for your loss. Sylvia Browne would say that he's around you... everyone that we knew that has passed on is nearer than we think!

Take care!

Love,
Gregory

PS.
Sylvia Browne says there are no such things as demons or the devil. There's a perfectly good explanation for you when you take the time and really explore it. The Book of Dreams is a great way to start. One thing that I do remember from the book is that there are release dreams. Release dreams balance the opposite idea out by creating a scenario that is so appalling that you would never imagine it in a normal waking state. The release dream takes care of what you won't allow your self to think. Just immediately cross off this list the "bad dreams are demonic" suggestions!!! Much love to you!

Sometimes dreams appear as the opposite of what we're actually feeling. Meaning maybe you're actually mad at him for leaving. But, in the same breath, I have to agree with 'Scott Justice'. If this has been going on for some time or does continue, you may consider consulting a therapist to find out just what these dreams mean to you.

As a Christian I can tell you it's one of two things.

1. In your mind. The dreams come from you.
2. It is demonic attacks in dream from.

If you aren't a born again Christian I suggest you become one. Jesus died on the cross so that you won't have to go to hell. All you have do to do is accept that in faith and ask Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and opey his teachings. The power of God can easily fix this for you. But don't be a Christian just for that. Do it because you understand you are a sinner and God is a just judge and will punish all who disobeyed his laws(10 commandments). Jesus paid you fine. You don't have to get punished if you accept that.

Good Question.... I'm sorry I don't have the answer for you. I just know dreams are a way of the human physic (mind) to work out un-resolved issues of our life's. I would pray, asking for God to reveal to me what this means and ask for more pleasant dreams.

Your dreams are part of your unconscious, ask in the psychology section, not the religion section. See a therapist, not a priest. I'm sure people here could tell you plenty of things, but a therapist could actually help you cope with such things.

Give yourself time. When we dream it's our brain processing tid bits of what we think, see, talk about etc for God only knows how long.

Pray to God for help, assurance, guidance, strength. Ask him to bring you good dreams for your rest as your day time is spent dealing with the loss. Ask God to bring you peace in slumber.
God Bless
