A girl (25 yrs. old) and I (25 yrs. old) met through jdate.com. We had two very good dates. She called me back to his response for a third date. We talked, set things up and she mentions how she really would like to see me again but feel they still have a lot to learn about each other. She emphasizes alot...is this bad?
By a third date, should some semblance of a romantic relationship be developing? I did give her a short kiss on the lips just before we left last time.
Does it sound like she's not really interested in a relationship at all and yet she's using words that sound like she is? For instance, she said, "See, I have to be honest. I think we still have a lot to learn about each other. But, I'd really like to see you again." Could this mean as friends?

I THINK WHAT SHE IS TELLING YOU IS: SHE WANTS YOU AND HER TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER BEFORE YA GO JUMPING IN THE SACK WITH EACH OTHER, BUT SHE IS INTERESTED IN YOU-SO SLOW DOWN, RELAX AND ENJOY-BUT DON'T BE PHONY.

Ask her whats on her mind. How else will you know. Maybe there will be several good dates to follow. She may not want to move to fast given you met on-line etc. There is nothing wrong with being cautious.

It truly sounds like she's maneuvering you into the friend zone. Beware. Be honest though, maybe she just has issues and is being extra cautious.
