no its not to early to have a friend, but your parents might think so just call him your school friend to them if they dont like the idea of a boyfriend at the age of 12

i think it is! i didnt have my first boyfriend till i was 15. i think even then might have been too early. when you're 12 you should be more concerned with having fun and meeting new people than having a boyfriend. i dont think i would want to waste my first kiss at the age of 12 though.... but thats just me.

I think that you should have a boyfriend when you are ready for one. As long as you two do nothing more than holding hands, hug, a kiss, and flirt. You are young and you have your whole life ahead of you. Waiting is always werth while. But if you think you are ready to have a boyfriend, then I see nothing wrong with that.

no not at al,l it"s not early you can make boyfriend. Actually what is a boyfriend is just that boy who is your friend and for whom you take care and love that boy alot.

There are 6 year olds who have bf. Though I'm 16 and just got my first bf. Just as long as you don't have you know what!!!!! I'm waiting till I'm married.

I think that they are ok as long as you are not doing "anything" with them. You just need to talk to your parents about it first though. But if you really like this kid, date him!

It's o.k. to have a male friend, but a boyfriend is different. hanging with a guy that is JUST a friend is o.k. NOTHING ELSE.
