I guess it has to do with who they feel most compatible and secure with. For the more traditional Chinese and Indian women who were probably born or raised in their native land, I suppose they are more likely to settle with someone of their own race because that is what they are familiar with. Then there are always the ‘strict’ parents who sometimes demand that their children marry inside their race or risk getting cut off and things of that nature. Most of the Chinese and Indian women that I know date and marry outside of their races, but they were born in the US or came here at a young age. Anyway, it’s all about personal preference, each woman has her own needs/wants/ dreams about her future life partner so I guess it all comes down to what things you want to have in common and who you see yourself getting old with.

Well, don't take my word as gospel, but I think it might have something to do with customs, cultures, religious beliefs, and beliefs about male/female roles....
Particularly if they live in western countries like the U.S., where such factors as Christianity...or women being equal to and standing up to men....or there not really being strict customs that the majority of people follow here....those women may relate the most to men who have some of their same belief systems and carry out the same practices.
For instance, since most blacks and whites in America are Christians, that's probably why they are the ones that are most likely to be found dating members of the other race....because when it all comes down to it - in love, relationships, marriage, and just any type of long-term commitment, religion and foundational belief systems are usually very, very relevant to the whole equation...and if they clash too much, could end up being the make-or-break factor of the couple in question...
But anyway, that's all just my two cents!

Well, I'm Chinese, but I live in a city where the Asian population's like... 2. I think its partially because of our environment; the way we're raised, what we expect from a spouse (which is pretty different), and partially our parent's expectations. Plus, interracial marriages are still not that big.

you should be asking yourself that question, whichever way it goes . . .or friends . . .
its part of life and the mind . . . love is blind . . . if its interracial marriage.
there's no particular special reasons . . .
