Awwww Aren't they darling little things? I've had budgies for 10 years and love them. They won't do anything in a new home for a few days. They're scared and nervous, and that's normal. Be sure to have the seed cups and water where they can see them. Have their cage in a peaceful place. It doesn't have to be real quiet, but there shouldn't be a lot of wild activity going on, like loud noises or other pets running around. AFter they're used to their new place, they won't mind more activity; in fact, they'll love craziness because budgies are pretty crazy little birds.
Take time to sit by their cage and talk to them a couple times a day. Move very slowly when you're in the room so they don't get frightened. Don't put your hand in the cage and chase them around. Give them time to get used to their surroundings. Put a couple toys in the cage; something with a shiny bell hanging on it will interest them.
Get some spray millet and put it in the palm of your hand and hold it by the open door of the cage, or just outside the bars. They won't come to it right away, but they'll see that you're offering them something special, and will eventually get up the nerve to taste it.
They need time to get use to your voice, to the new cage, to the noises in the house. They will venture down to the seed cups and water cups, once they feel a little more secure. Congrats on your new pets. Budgies are great!

If you just got them then in a book or on the internet when I got mine, then it said that you should leave them alone for a week.
