i lived on an army base in what i think was west germany, when i was really young. i would like to get information on the city it was in, but i can't find out what it is called.

An answer to that question would make a list too long to answer here. The US Army (and Air Force) was all over the southern 2/3rds of West Germany (the Brits had the top). I was there in the 80s and can't really think of a major city that didn't have a US garrison somewhere around it.

If you go to the DOD website, or the Army one, you will be able to find a list.

I know Stuttgart, Heidleberg, and Garmisch do. Other than that, you would have to look and see.
