Isn't there a difference between a prophet and a psychic?
If I claimed to be a psychic, and I thought that there was anything to the horoscope, I would ask your date of birth so I would know what your sign was.
One supposes that God would know your date of birth and would not bother to ask. If God knows everything, he knows your date of birth. Being omniscient (that is, knowing everything) is normally considered one of the attributes of God. He is also said to be omnipresent, omnipotent, and omni benevolent.
I have never met anyone claiming to be either God or a prophet, so I haven't met a false prophet, either.
The few people that I have met who claimed to be psychics have been mostly clueless.
I have driven by the workplaces of people who claim to be psychics, but I consider them to be fraudsters and would not give them money to tell me crap I already know.
Once a guy told me that if I did not pay him for a reading, I would lose the loss of my right leg within a year. That was 20 years ago, and I am still walking, dancing, riding my bicycle as always.

Psychics are not Prophets of God. A Prophet of God is concerned with prophesying what God feels need to be said and conveyed in regards to God and the Kingdom and the will of God.
Psychics are mostly out for money. Prior to my becoming a Christian, I went to them, I learned to read tarot cards, etc. It can be true that they have some unspoken abilities, but they are not from God, that is for sure. God even warns us of that in the Bible and tells us to have nothing to do with them. Psychics also use basic questions to gather information about you and a lot of there foretelling is on a wide margin of the probability that what they say could happen. It's actually very vague and not pin point specific. When you dabble in this, you dance with the Devil himself!

There is only one kind of prophet today and that is a false prophet. We have a complete prophecy and revelation of God. There is nothing that can be added to or take away from God's Word. God is not giving direct revelation if He was the so called prophets could write it down and add it to the Bible and then we would have all of God's Words. Revelation 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Revelation 22: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Your question is confusing at best. Prophets of God don't need your birth date to reveal anything. But the last Prophet of God was murdered . . . so who are you thinking is a prophet?
May God Bless You

Psychics are NOT prophets of God. Anyway, a prophet of God doesn't care about one's date of birth. There are no prophet's of God living anymore. All prophecies have been made, and almost all have been fulfilled. Those that haven't been will soon be.

There is a difference between prophets of God and witchcraft. A prophet of God does not "do tricks" or magic. He does not know all and see all, he simply relay to us what God is speaking to him. And yes, there are false prophets and their are real prophets.
Hope this helps.

If God is really talking to him He should have told him all of the information that he needs. If he can tell you the past, present, and future, then he should be able to tell you your date of birth.
