Well, there isn't really any quick fix. If you did something unhealthy, you would just end up gaining all the weight back, plus more. Instead just try to moderate your eating habits. And exercise is good for your whole body, not just losing weight.

The uncommon ways are unhealthy for the most part.

Instead of "dieting," how about just trying to cut back on how much is being eaten, and being careful what you eat? Then, you will adjust your "diet" or way of eating on your own based on what you find works for you.

Cut off an arm or a leg, you'll lose a significant amount of weight.

I suppose if you got a really nasty digestive system parasite, or the stomach flu, or any number of other less than fatal disease it could contrubute to weight loss. Go through radiation treatment for cancer would probably work too.

get Dance Dance Revolution! it is exercise, but it's so much fun that you won't feel like you're exercising..
