Yes, you did. I think 14 is too young to have sex. If he truly loved you, he wouldn't force you to do anything that you didn't want to or weren't ready for. For him to get mad at you cause you weren't ready is not cool. Sex should be something special. FYI, there will be a lot of guys who will try to make you have sex with them, but if you keep your positive attitude, then you will be fine. Not saying you have to stay a virgin forever or until you are married, but wait till you feel you are ready. Not just cause he wants you too. You really did the right thing for standing up for yourself. I know that can be hard but you did a good thing. Way to go hun.

Stand up for Your right to choose the time, the place and the person with whom You first experience sexual intercourse. You are under absolutely no obligation to Your 'boyfriend' (sounds more 'boy' than 'friend' if You ask Me). You only get one shot at making it a memorable occurrence, rather than something You may regret for a long time to come. When You feel that the time is right make sure that You are "protected'. Ask Your Mother, or an adult Female about what to do, they will give You good advise.
Good luck.

Yes you DID do the right thing! You have a good head on your shoulders, and think about all the dangers. If you got pregnant, you could die! He seems kinda controlling and you dont need a guy like that on your hands 24/7. So go out there and find a guy that TRULY cares about you.

You keep your head high, you I so did the right thing. And you should be so very proud of yourself. The first time should be special, not something you get pressured into. 14 is young and even if everyone else around you was having sex, you should only have sex, if and when you are 100% ready.

You did the right thing. If he loves you he wouldn't want to do anything that you weren't happy with. It is just his hormones urging him on. He needs to go get on with his homework for a few years. If you let yourself be bullied into it you wouldn't feel good about it. When the time is right all will be fine. There is no great hurry. If you waited five years the guys would just about be mature enough to maybe start learning how to really care about somebody.

You go girl. I am proud of you for doing the right thing. Your future should be important. I don't know many 14 yr. olds that think like that. And yes if he loves and respects you then he should be happy to wait. If he breaks up with you then he never loved you and i would say to him good ridence. He's not worth getting in trouble with. (pregnant) Good luck to you in the future.

Definitely! Congrats girl, you did the right thing! If you're not ready he should respect that and if he gets mad, clearly, he doesn't love you, he only wants that. What if you guys both did that then after he left you since he already got what he wanted?!
He is not the right guy for you. Look for a guy that will respect your decisions. Take Care!
