bowling is kind of cheesy, but its a good relaxed environment that doesn't put you with screaming kids at macdonalds or in the silent atmosphere of a restaurant where everyone can hear every word you say, and there's really nothing to do except stare at each other and make each other uncomfortable and self-conscious. It gives you both a chance to sit and talk, or to move around, joke and show off, without feeling like you're on display. You are tho, don't think she's not checking out your butt while you line up that next shot!! When you're more comfortable, then it's safe to drop 100 bucks on dinner and know you'll have a good time with no uncomfortable silences, or first date jitters.

How about a nice restaurant, nothing real Fancy but a little quiet place for a dinner, and chatting.. First dates can be nervous.. why do you want to spend time doing things and not get to know each other.. With dinner and chatting you have all the time to get to know each other and the likes and dislikes of each other.. Next date you can plan to do something together that you know she will likes, like sports or dancing or whatever, and she will be so touched you remembered what she said on that first date.

To a concert,
Ice or Roller Skating,
A nice restaurant,
Find out if she likes any type of sport and get tickets to that venue.
The Movies and a coffee shop afterwards so you can talk.
Depending on the weather - a picnic - even in the cold all bundled up with a nice hot thermos of beverages and something good to eat - she would appreciate the effort.
Fishing! A lot of girls really do like it!
A game of Mini-Golf, followed with a visit to Madam ? the palm reader! hehe
Take her to one of those mall stores where kids build their own bears. She would think that is really sweet and would have a momento of the date.
Bowling with some friends. Another couple would really cut the nervousness of a first date.
Shopping! Yeah I said "Shopping". Girls love to shop and you could tell her you need some help picking out something for your place or a piece of clothing! That's how my Man hooked me! hahaha
Good Luck my Dear!

The best place to go on the first date is to either a movie or a restraunt. Girls like fancy sometimes but don't go to Mcdonalds or some place stupid like that go to a place quiet and relaxing.

coffee shop, or musuem, game, zoo, ski, anywhere where you can talk. that's the purpose of the first date. to talk and know information about each other. lunch is good. don't go for romantic kind of restaurant. China town will work.
