Businesses such as Air Traffic Control or a Pilot.

Also, please don't leave me any answers that say "I have no idea" or "I don't know."

I don't want to know about any other colleges/universities. Just tell me if UCLE is good for aviation jobs such as a pilot or ATC.

AFAIK I haven't heard of any aviation courses in UCLA. UCLA is a good college to study film not Aviation. These are the two best colleges in the world to study aviation related majors:

Spartan college of Aeronautics

Embry Riddle University (they have two campuses one in Florida and one in Arizona which might be nearer to you if you're from California).

A website that lists aviation and aircraft maintenance schools

Good forums on how to become a military fighter pilot

If you are real serious about becoming a pilot, aerospace engineer, aviation business you should seriously apply at Embry Riddle University or Spartan college.

I haven't heard anything good or bad of any aviation programs at UCLA. The general consensus in the aviation world is that Embry-Riddle and UND (North Dakota) are two of the best in the country. I'm not alum of either school. If you're interested in ATC in SoCal, I think Mt. SAC university still has an ATC program (CTI). The FAA hires almost all non-military controllers from these CTI programs. I attended Miami-Dade College for my CTIdegree and am now working as an ATCS. check ATCCTI.com for some good info.

I'm not certain about UCLA's aviation program. However, a little ways away in Flagstaff Arizona is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University...the BEST in the country if you want to learn to fly AND make a living out of it. Also, ERAU places more pilots in flying jobs than any univeristy in the country, including the military academies !

I didn't know UCLA had aero, try CSULA. Cal State Los Angeles is in east LA and your car will be stolen or valdalized while you're in class. They have an average aero division, nothing spectacular. I went to ERAU and was way happy. I did tour the CSULA aero division before making a choice and it is geared more towards people who havn't and clue as to how the industry really works, they want to make managers and business people who F'up the system the hardworking people put together. (yeah I think managers in aviation are useless)

If you want to be a pilot, spend you money smartly and go learn at your local airport and get a degree in something you like anywhere.
