So many key elements of religion have been disproved, so why do people still believe in this garbage? EX: Evolution

I can't believe how many of you have fallen into the brainwashed mainstream also known as "religion", no one has ever disproved religion, and now the big bang theory has been proven to be true

There is a period in our development where the mores and beliefs of our tribe are imprinted on us and the brain actually rewires itself to make these mores and beliefs a permanent part of our thought process. With most people the beliefs are provided by the religion of our parents and to a lesser extent the ethnic culture we are born into. The critical ages are 5 through 13. If for some reason a person gets through this critical period without being imprinted they grow into adulthood with a mind that uses logic and reason to cope with the world around them rather than imprinting. I know it’s difficult for the religious to accept due to their imprinting but religion is illogical and absurd and will be rejected if a person is able to examine it using logic and reason. Because the brain is actually rewired for religion it is almost impossible for the religious to comprehend a brain not imprinted.

For chidren only candy, ice-cream, chocolate... are real. The theory of relativity, evolution, illimited physical universe... are fake!
It is the same, for under-developed souls, the selfless love, the Holy Spirit, the world of Revelation...must be fake. How can they have any ideas about these spiritual realities. The problem is that they keep on loudly insulting the Divine Personalities, they dare call elements of religion as garbage!!

What concrete proof do you have that it is fake?
I can tell you that I have proof of Heaven, God, and my Soul. Can you?
Where did I get this proof? It was facts I recieved from Mediums and every word made sense to me. It all fit the bible too. I have had so many astonishing things happen in this last 3 years once I opened my heart up to learning about Spirituality. These things make it all real, every bit of it.
God is my maker and savior. I will spend the rest of my life doing good and helping others. He is real. Dont waste another moment.

It is totally real to those who have faith and believe with their hearts. Everything known to man can be disproved to some extent.

The first answerer hit the nail on the head. Religious people have no interest in the truth. So no matter what the evidence is they have already decided to ignore it. Giving evidence to a theist is like pouring water in a sieve.

garbage to you, faith to others. for me, i believe by faith. i really don't care who so called 'disproves' it. nothing will stop me from believing in the word of God.
