Most beauty supply stores sell certain oils or gels that are used to straiten your hair pour a little less than a dime size and rub your hands together and run it through your hair it usually works for me or (if your talking about static in your hair) you can run a dry sheet over your hair to stop it from looking like that :)Good Luck

if your talking about normal hair straightening with an iron, its not permanat and it may depend on what heat level its on or if its seramic or titanium or if its a cheap conair stuff. if your talkin about chemical hair straightening then you have to understand that it doesn't change the texture of your hair it just gets the curls or waves slightly straighter. that only does so much, you still have to flat iron it too. i got it done and it made it easier to straighten but it wasn't what i expected and my hair was lifeless, damaged, and nappy. dont fight it, if your hairs curly make it luxiorious and if it just outward or poofy grow it long, that type of hair looks good long.
