why can you believe that your faith is the really TRUE one when it is so rooted in your own cultural background?
if you had been born in africa you wouldnt be believing it, so why is it so difficult to see that your believes are based on cultural and not spiritual reasons?
how, if your religion is the true one and it gives you great joy and whatever you want to say, are there other people who, your god has denied the possibility of ever knowing anything about it? (think of many tribes in africa and other parts of the world)

I agree, people don't understand that the only reason that they believe in their religion so much is because it is deeply rooted in their culture.

Christianity is not rooted in one background. There are Jews, Muslims, Hindu etc. who are Christians. Some of the early believers were Jews and they were killed for their belief by other
Jew and the Romans. There were Romans who believe and they were also killed. When the early church started out people from the continent of Africa, the area surrounding Rome, and Israel were the Christians. The wise man who followed the star to see baby Jesus were magi from Northern Iraq. God visited them and told them to go home another way.

The Bible said that one day Jesus the Christ will come back to judge the wicked and those who wanted to destroy the earth, but he will not come back until all the earth has had a chance to hear the word of the gospel and are able to make a decision whether or not to believe in Jesus the Christ.

What is so important about Jesus the Christ? When Adam and
Eve sinned against God in the Garden of Eden all their decedents were cursed by sin which brought spiritual death. Man could not please God so there were animal sacrifices to take the punishment for their sins. So, God sent himself in the form of a man(Jesus the Christ ) to replace the animal sacrifices. Jesus the Christ was perfect because he was God so he did not have sin. When Jesus the Christ died he broke the curse of sin on all men who would believe. All who do not believe are still under the curse of Adam and Eve's sin.

First off, God does not deny anyone the priviledge of knowing Him. It is His desire, that everyone come to know Him on a personal level. What keeps people from knowing God is the bad and sinful choices all humanity has made since time began. Sin has far reaching consequences. Jesus says that families can be cursed for several generations, due to the sins of their forefathers. This is why we have countries today where the gospels have yet to be preached. However, God assures us of a day, when the gospel will be preached to "All The World"
We are actually very close to this now with modern technology beaming radio and TV signals to the farthest corners of the earth. Missionary teams are getting further and further into the jungles and villages, which were once thought to be unreachable.
If more people would donate their money and their time to getting Gods Holy Word to every human being on the planet, we would have accomplished this by now. However humans are sinful, they can be selfish, lazy and unconcerned about their fellow human beings. This is why Gods Word has not been heard by everyone. We are to blame, not God. He gives us the resources to accomplish this and He expects us all to accomplish it together. We all need to give our time and money to organizations that are truly seeking to fulfill Gods command to us.
Most may not be able to go to Mogadishu and preach the gospel,
however, everyone can contribute and support those who can.
God Bless You....Peace.

Easy. It's the One. Kind of like the movies. You just know it, no matter what language it is spoken in. I know it sounds really corny, but consider that at the time of pentecost, when the apostles came down from the upper room and began talking in tongues. Everyone in Jerusalem was gathered there from different countries because of the Passover, and each understood in their own language what the apostles were saying, but some people thought that they were just drunk.

To me, the One True Religion is like a coat that you put on, and it fits you like it was tailored for you. It's magical. No matter who puts the coat on, it fits perfectly.

That is why Jesus gave to us the last great commission: to go into all of the nations of the world and make believers.(you are correct is saying that there are multiple hundreds or thousands of cultural backgrounds). Millions still have never even heard the name, Jesus.

The apostles went out to spread the word! some people accepted it. others did not! Judaism was already known by other cultures who decided to go another way with another beleif. Muslims beleive in mohammed who began the religion at around 600 AD. So whats your point, son?

I disagree with your premise.
how do you know God has denied any opportunity for any group of people to know Him.
you just don't know that.
I always fail to understand the logic behind the arguement"
Well, if God won't save the remote tribe in Africa, I am not going to bekieve in Him and I will gladly sacrifice my eternity in that case/
what foolishness....
as if they know what or how God has dealt with those remote tribes.....

I disagree with you, i am not christian but i was. Yes the reason i was christian was because i was born into it..............

But there are lots of people as i've found from a question about "should your children chose their own religion" many people who have not had a religion thrust upon them have still chosen christianity... not only christianity but a lot of other religions.
