It means they believe the nonsense in the bible that says this.
A God that picks favorites?
Sounds more like someones silly little dream of superiority, than it sounds like something God would do.
Love and blessings Don

A good place to get accurate information on the Bible is www.watchtower.org - there is a search engine that will help you get complete information - if you put the subject in.
God had a special convenant with the Jews, but once they rejected His Son, Jesus, that covenant was broken. It was the Jewish nation that turned on Jesus, because Jesus would not become their 'King'. He said his kingdom was not of This World, but was a Spiritual Kingdom.
All in all, his intention was to allow the Jewish nation a chance to hear his message. Once they rejected God's Son, the Word of God was (in so many words) opened to the nations, Gentiles, to accept.
This was a turning point. Many people who were not Jewish welcomed the Good News that the Apostles who followed the words of Jesus had to offer. The good news of the Kingdom of Jehovah God, Jesus's Father, was being preached from that time until our present day. Matthew 24:14. (This good news of God's Kingdom will be preach in all the inhabited earth (for a witness), and then the end will come)
There are but 3 countries that do NOT allow Jehovah's Christian Witnesses to preach in - Somalia, N.Korea, and Afghanistan - all basically full of persecution and wartorn areas - outside of those countries - Jehovah's Witnesses are preaching in every country in this world - preaching God's message - over 240 languages.
This is a special declaration that was made during Jesus's time until the present....to Declare the Good News of God's Kingdom, IS soon to come upon the earth. All we wait for now is the prophecy that speaks about when Governments will turn against False Religion (Babylon the Great), and then the Great Tribulation...which will assuredly lead way toward the Great Day of God Almighty - Armageddon.
Finally, and end to all the wickedness we see in the world !

He made a special covenant with the father of judaism, which was Abraham. He promised his seed would be like the grains of sand upon the Earth. Yes, they are the chosen ones. NO, they can not do whatever they want because scripture states that the good will receive double over the gentiles, but the bad will be chastised double over the gentiles.
ps- I beleive the wandering in the dessert, the golden calf, etc etc proves that they have done wrong and were punished for it.

No, the covenant with the Jews started with Abraham. It was a promise to him and his generations (the Jewish) because Abraham was a righteous man in the eyes of God at a time when there were not many if any at all.
The covenant does not mean that he necessarily prefers the Jews to the Gentiles (all who are not Jewish), he loves all his creation. At Abraham's time, he was about the only one worthy. What it means for today, at such a crucial time in the history of God, is that the Jewish have a special relationship with God (as they have always had) and in end times, they will have a very special purpose in serving mankind and serving God himself. Of course they do wrong, they are human and therefore sin. Because of their disobedience, they are blinded from the true identity of Messiah (Jesus). They will know Messiah when he returns though and they know just what to do when it is their time.
Don't be jealous of them, love them as God does. Anyone who curses Israel, will be cursed. Any who bless Israel, will be blessed. God says so.

G-d made a covenant with the jews. his part was that he would protect us and be our G-d, our part was that in return we would follow his laws and be faithful only to him and no other god. this doesn't exclude other people from G-d's love, it means that since they are not bound in the covenant, they don't have to follow the 613 commandments and therefore G-d will love them even if they eat bacon or break the sabbath. the talmud says that a righteous gentile can earn the same level of holiness as the high priest of israel himself. also, it states jews and non-jews have an equal place in the world to come according to their merit - for the jews, merit comes from following the 613 commandments, for the gentiles, merit comes from following the 7 basic laws of morality which are pretty much the same as the 10 commandments, except missing one or two.

Other than being the first people to have a covenant with G-D,there's no 'special' about it. The 'Covenant of Abraham',I believe is what you're asking about? Since Abraham is the Patriarch of the Jews, his covenant is ours.

HECK NO! I have 4 children and even though at times I love one more than the other, my favour will falter when they've been naughty. Now, about the Jews: G-d picked us out of all the nations because 1: he's already asked the other nations if they wanted to be his special people...they said "no" and 2: we're the one's that are the most wrecked.

They are no longer His chosen people. After the Crucifixion Jesus said to take the Gospel into all the world. The Jews were no longer Gods chosen people.

GOD had a covenant with the Jews. Jesus abolished the covenant replacing it with a new one where He became the blood sacrifice for sin.

No, God make the covenant to test humans faith. He make the rules and want to see who will oney him and who dont. Who is God true believer and who dont. Its a test. ANybody who pass the test will go to heaven and the rest will go to hell.
He gave the covenant to Jews because Moses was sent to Jew, same goes with Jesus, he was sent to Jews.
