Please help!?
I recently bought a new haircare product (CHI Silk Infusion) The product had a leak in the bottle and leaked all over my linolium floor and stained it so I thought I used everything imaginable to try to lift it up and it didn't come off it's like a neon yellow stain a really big spot so I am assuming it is a chemical reaction. I called the company of the product and they said that there isn't any harsh chemicals in the product therefore it should not stain. Well it did I said and the woman told me to try bleach or oxy clean. I did that. Didn't work. In this situation what do I do next? Should I call the company back and try and get them to fix it or is this my fault. Do I call the linolium company??? Should they be liable the floor is only 2 years old. Please Help!

I think if it was leaking when you bought it ,you would have known by the bottle being greasy. Maybe it got bumped where ever you put it. Or maybe the lid was not closed all the way.And if bleach didn't get it up maybe it got under the linoleum. That's why you cant get it up!I don't think its the company's fault, and you can stain linoleum, but id check under it before i called any one else.

i would call the linoleum company first & see if you have any sort of waranty. that would be the first place to start. they may actually know what to try to remove the stain, or they might be able to suggest how to get reimbursed through the hair company.

then, if that does not work, then try to get the hair company to reimburse you.... but i would warn you that this will probably be difficult. you must keep pressing for people above the authority of the one you are speaking with. be persistent. you may have to make numberous phone calls & write letters. still, i don't know if you will be able to get anywhere with it-- key thing to remember-- did the bottle come to your house with a hole in the bottle or was it damaged by you....

by the way, look on the bottle for the ingredients & do your own research... make that your first priority...

I don't think you will be ale to get the stain off the linoleum. Allot of things stain linoleum like that, even the rubber on the back of a rug will make yellow spots. Get a rug that doesn't have rubber on the back and cover the floor with it.

I think that you should call the company back and tell them that the stain won't come out and that they should have someone from their company come out and look at it and figure out what they are going to do about it. because I don't think that its your fault!! Good luck and get back to me on this!!
