does anyone allow there kids not to wear socks with there sneakers or sandals in the winter or cold weathere because i let my sons pick if they want too.

Well, If he was my son, I would allow him not to wear socks in his sneakers if he does not want to wear them. I would not allow him to wear sandals in the Winter though. I would buy my son some comfortable sneakers that can be worn without socks very comfortablely, and would keep his feet warm. There are sneakers that are specifically made to be worn without socks. I work as a cab driver, and I see kids as young as 7 not wearing socks in their sneakers at this time of year, and I get out quite a bit and I see a lot of young kids wearing thier sneakers without socks. I was at a CHirstmas Party about a month ago, and I seen a 9 year old boy wearing his sneakers without socks, and the mother didn't seem to mind him not wearing socks, and it was in the mid 30s. If I were you, I would not worry about it at all. I understand that your son will not wear socks period, and never wears them. I think from your previous questions, that your son hates wearing socks; therefore, he wears his sneakers without socks all the time. His feet are probably now used to the cold weather, and he has no problem not wearing socks since he has been doing this for quite some time now. I also recommend that you make sure his feet are washed on a regular basis, so they don't stink, and if possible, try to clean his sneakers, and buy some Fre-breeze to spray on his sneakers so they don't get stinky. It's too much of a fight with my son to make him wear socks.. This is not the battle I have the energy to fight! LOL Yes, his feet and shoes stink, and are very dirty and gross but I just buy the spray for the smelly shoes. And socks with sandals? I wouldn't allow my kids to do that to begin with LOL

If I had kids who wanted to wear sandals, then regardless of the weather, I would make them take their socks off first.

I think they should wear them with sneakers. But why are your kids wearing sandals in the winter when its cold? I would not let them wear sandals in the winter.

they should wear socks with shoes and no sandals in the winter its too cold, at least here in michigan

Its bad for you feet not to wear socks, In the military socks are one of the most important parts of your gear, besides your rifle of coarse. You need to keep them dry and always have them on. Your childrens feet will smell like a VC trench if you dont make them wear socks, and beleive me, you dont want to smell the stench of a VC trench.

Yeah. My daughter never had to wear socks if she didn't want to. But other than to school or the store, mall, appointments she didn't wear shoes anyway. Takes after her mom that way.

No, if my little ones favor to placed on shoes they ought to placed on socks too, if not it leads to pungent shoes. in the journey that they don't favor to placed on socks, flow for sandals. also my childrens are literally not allowed to flow out barefoot, not in any respect understand what's on the floor.

WELL IT DEPENDS WHAT KIND OF SHOES SHE IS GOING
TO WEAR. MY DAUGHTER HAS DIFFERENT TYPES OF
SHOES THAT SHE HAS TO WEAR SOCKS, LIKE HER
SNEAKERS, BOOTS AND THEN THERE IS HER SHOES THAT
SHE JUST SLIPS ON AND YOU DON'T WEAR SOCKS WITH
THEM. THEN SHE HAS SANDALS WITH SMALL HEELS FOR YOUNG GIRLS AND OF COURSE YOU DON'T WEAR SOCKS
WITH THOSE EITHER. AND HER FLIP FLOPS OF COURSE
NO SOCKS. SO IT ALL DEPENDS WHAT KIND OF SHOES
SHE/HE IS GOING TO WEAR IN ANY TYPE OF WEATHER.
MY DAUGHTER WILL WEAR ANY KIND OF SHOES EVEN IF
IT IS RAINING. EVEN IF SHE KNOWS THAT SHE WILL BE
IN DOORS MOST OF THE TIME, THEN TO HER IT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE ALL SHE IS GOING TO DO IS TAKE
THEM OFF AS SOON AS SOON AS SHE STEPS IN THE
HOUSE. PLUS SHE PLAYS SOCCER AND OF COURSE
SHE HAS TO WEAR SOCCER SOCKS AND SOCCER SHOES.

Feet tend to get really stinky and dirty then, especially as they get older.
